When we first saw L’Obit Ouest, we knew we would need to reconfigure the layout. It was only when we spent our first month here that we realised just how frustrating the old layout was, with a kitchen at the opposite end of the house to the living room and terrace meaning we were constantly trekking back and forth up the hallway with plates of food.

Finally, in December 2022, we are delighted to say that the first stage of our building work is complete, with a gorgeous new kitchen installed in the spacious living area.

The flow of the house now makes sense, with guests able to stroll easily from the kitchen to the outdoor terrace and dining table.

Our favourite part of the new kitchen is how sociable it makes the open plan room feel, with guests able to cook whilst chatting with their family and friends who may be lounging on the sofas, sitting at the dining table, or sipping a glass of wine on the stools at the kitchen island.
